Frequently Asked Questions
1. Why should I choose a photo booth?
Everyone is always looking for "something different" to have at their wedding reception or event. A photo booth does that by creating a buzz among the guests as they share laughs looking at each other's photo strips. Photo booths are great for everyone...young and old! They provide the opportunity for your guests to take interactive and candid photos that can be shared with everyone!
2. Does someone come with to run the photo booth?
Absolutely! You will have at least one attendant to set up, run the booth and answer questions throughout the event. They will also help guest with photos, scrapbook, props, etc...
3. Are the photo strips printed on-site?
Yes, the photo strips are printed immediately. Be careful, there are some photo booth companies that do not print the photo strips on-site. Make sure you know what you are getting.
4. What kind of printer is used to print the photo strips?
The photo strips are printed immediately using a dye-sublimation (dye-sub) printer. Dye-sub printers have many advantages over ink jet printers. For instance, photos printed from a dye-sub printer will not smudge...therefore, no worries about getting ink on your formal attire! In addition, photos printed from a dye-sub printer will not fade over time like a photo printed with an ink-jet printer. The dye-sub printers produce photos that are comparable in quality to photos you would receive from a professional photo processing lab!
5. How many photos can we take during our rental period?
There is no limit to the number of photos you and your guests can take. With a simple push of a button, your guests will be able to choose between COLOR or BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOS!
6. How do I choose between a photographer and having a photo booth?
No need to choose! The services each provide are mutually exclusive. A photographer is primarily used for "formal" photos at a wedding ceremony/reception. For wedding receptions, most professional photographers are primarily there to capture photos at the ceremony and only a few at the reception. A photo booth is great for capturing photos throughout the reception. Memories and More Photo Booths will provide an interactive, informal, and fun photo experience! In addition, the photo strips will provide a memorable party favor for your guests.
